Commitments of Free Members*
To support meaningful and respectful cross-cultural communication, we encourage all our Free Members to actively engage with other members on Kiseki.com.
*“Free Members” here refers to users who can access Kiseki by applying and agreeing to follow the rules. This does not refer to unpaid users living in Japan. Currently, only people residing outside of Japan are eligible to apply for Free Membership.
As a Free Member, you are expected to:
A: Website & Mobile App Usage
- Sign in to Kiseki.com website or mobile app at least 5 times per week.
- Spend at least 8 hours online per week in total.
- Allow web-camera and microphone access for video-calls with other members, where available.
- Check your personal email every day for the notifications from Kiseki.com.
B: Profile
- Share the link to your Kiseki.com profile page in your social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Update your profile description, bio, interests and profile status so that information is accurate.
- Change your profile and cover photo every 2-3 weeks.
- Upload 3-5 new photos every week.
- Film and upload 1-2 videos to Kiseki.com every week.
C: Communication with Other Members
To build trust and real connections, we encourage Free Members to stay present and responsive:
- Reply to at least 80% of incoming emails within 24 hours.
- Respond to 80% of online chat messages within 10 minutes, and offline chats within 24 hours.
- Have regular video-calls with members on your contact list — ideally at least once per week.
- Use the “Let’s Mingle” feature when you log in to send greetings to other members.
- Use friendly and polite English. Follow small talk and suggested conversation topics to help things flow naturally.
- Show interest, kindness, and respect in every interaction — it makes a difference.
By staying active and warm in your communication, you'll not only strengthen your chances of finding someone special, but also help keep Kiseki a sincere and welcoming place for all.
Free Membership status may be suspended or revoked if these commitments are repeatedly not met.
Violations that may result in immediate termination of a free member account
D: Criminal activities
- Facilitating or organizing criminal activities.
- Causing direct or indirect physical or financial harm to people, animals, property, or businesses.
- Inciting ethnic hatred or ethnic discrimination.
- Celebrating any crimes committed, either by any member or by a third party.
- Display of firearms, promotion of gun violence.
- Use, mention or display of illicit drugs and/or drug paraphernalia.
- Death threats or threats of violence or harm against any individual or community.
- Depiction of or advocacy for child abuse, animal cruelty, self-mutilation, bodily harm.
E: Nudity or overly sexualized content
- Exposure of any genitalia at any time.
- Lingerie is prohibited.
- Swimsuit is only allowed in or near pools and outdoor waters.
- Inappropriate or revealing clothing.
- Sexually suggestive or provocative activity, which includes any sexual gestures, posture, dances, and/or general sexual behavior.
- Sexually charged language, both on camera and/or in the comments section or in the broadcast title.
- Offers of sexual services including prostitution, escort services, sexual massages, and/or filmed sexual activity.
F: Prohibited Types of Speech
- Hate speech, which promotes or encourages discrimination, harassment, or violence based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, or nationality.
- Harassment, defamation or intimidation.
- Misleading or false statement about Kiseki.com, its product, features or policies.
- Advertising for illegal or inappropriate merchandise.
- Rumors, false or misleading information.
- Depicting, encouraging or assisting suicide or self-harm.
- Spam, junk mail or other unsolicited advertisement.
- Bullying, Harassment, Or Hateful Language.
- Profanity and/or vulgarity that is meant to hurt or attack.
- Hate speech — Discriminatory or humiliating remarks based on: race or ethnic origin, religion or faith, disability, gender, age, nationality, appearance or physical attributes, or sexual orientation/gender identity.
G: Prohibited Content and Recording Practices
To keep Kiseki safe, respectful, and welcoming for everyone, the following types of content and behavior are strictly prohibited:
- Filming or photographing any individual without their clear consent.
- Recording or sharing any content involving minors (under 18 years of age).
- Sharing or displaying personal information (e.g. address, phone number, ID, etc.) of another person with the intent to harass, threaten, or blackmail.
- Posting content that highlights or promotes tobacco, e-cigarette, or alcohol consumption.
- Uploading or distributing copyrighted content without proper authorization.
- Creating or sharing content in adult entertainment venues (e.g. nightclubs, strip clubs, etc.).
Violations of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
